The DAM launched the show with a number of special Victorian-themed events, the highlight of which was the exhibition opening gala reception on Saturday, January 31st. Speakers at the reception included Delaware's Lieutenant Governor, Matthew Denn, and Professor Adam Tickell, Vice Principal of Royal Holloway College. Margaretta Frederick, Curator of the Delaware Art Museum's Bancroft Collection, led a special tour of the exhibition.
More information about special events being held in conjunction with "Paintings from the Reign of Victoria: THE ROYAL HOLLOWAY COLLECTION, LONDON" may be found on the Delaware Art Museum's website.
